Organized inbox
Separate personal messages, transactions, updates, promotions, verification codes, groups, and spam.
SMS organizer for Android
ZenSMS is built for people who still depend on SMS but do not want one long noisy inbox. It organizes text messages into folders, blocks spam texts, imports existing SMS, and keeps your inbox local to your Android device.
ZenSMS separates conversations so important messages are easier to scan. System folders organize personal messages, transactions, updates, promotions, groups, verification codes, and spam without needing a cloud account.
ZenSMS uses a 9-signal spam filter to help keep unwanted texts out of your main inbox. The privacy model is local-first: no ZenSMS account, no cloud copy of your messages, and no advertising or analytics SDKs.

Spam
Reduce noisy texts with spam signals designed for SMS, not a generic email-style inbox.
Privacy
No ad SDKs, no analytics SDKs, no account requirement, and no cloud sync of message content.
ZenSMS is designed for Android users looking for a cleaner, more organized SMS inbox. If you are switching because another SMS app is changing, discontinued, or no longer fits your workflow, these guides cover the common migration paths.
Compare folders, spam filtering, message import, privacy, and what changes during the switch.

Read the guideZenSMS is an SMS/MMS app. It can send and receive standard carrier SMS and MMS when it is your default SMS app. It cannot receive RCS messages because no third-party SMS app can receive RCS. If messages from some contacts disappear after switching, deregister RCS so those contacts fall back to SMS/MMS.
For help with missing messages, MMS downloads, folders, backups, and antivirus false positives, read the ZenSMS FAQ.
ZenSMS is built around local-first messaging. The privacy policy, public tracker report, and security scan notes are linked openly so users can inspect the claims instead of relying only on app-store copy.
